Dr. Guha Vishwanath M. V. is a distinguished Sanskrit scholar, academician, and spiritual guide with over two decades of teaching and consulting experience across India and abroad. Currently serving as Adjunct Professor in the Department of Heritage Sciences at IIT Hyderabad, he unites rigorous Vedic scholarship with a modern, compassionate approach to Jyotiṣa.

A Vidyāvāridhi (PhD) graduate from Banaras Hindu University, he specialises in Samvādavimarśaḥ in Vālmīki Rāmāyaṇa and holds multiple master’s degrees with distinction in Phalita Jyotiṣa and Ālaṅkāraśāstra. His expertise spans the Vedas, Yoga, Upaniṣads, Sāṃkhya, Vedānta, Nāṭyaśāstra, and Arthaśāstra.

As Principal Investigator for the Indian Knowledge Systems Project (Ministry of Education), he leads interdisciplinary research integrating ancient wisdom with contemporary life. Over the years, he has lectured internationally on Advaita Vedanta and trained students and seekers in the science of consciousness through astrology.
